This is what snack time with a 5 year old looks like:
Me: MK... why do you think the sky is blue?
MK: Because the sun lives in it.
Me: What do your brothers do to annoy you?
MK: UGH they just always play legos and cars.
Me: How old do you have to be to drive a car?
MK: 63
Me: Where are you going on vacation this year?
MK: Disney. I mean Iowa. I need to go to Iowa because my Aunt Shelly has Barbie dolls.
Me: What does your mommy do at work?
MK: She helps people that are sick, and hurted people and people who had died hahaha.
Me: What do you want to be when you grow up?
MK: I want to be an astronaut.
Me: Why?
MK: Because they get to go on the moon.
Me: Who is the President of the United States?
MK: President Omama
Me:Where does he live?
MK: In George Washington, D.C.
Me:What is your favorite thing about me?
MK: Uhhhh you make brownies sometimes. Oh and popcorn. You sometimes make popcorn too.
Me: Do you like the weather better hot or cold?
MK: Hot because then we can get ICEES.
{a few minutes pass}
MK: Ernie, what do astronauts eat when they're in space?
Me: They eat Spacebars
MK: Mmmmmmm yummmmy. Are they chocolate?
